“The Truth About Addiction & Recovery”

The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University reports:

“The prevention and reduction of the risky use of addictive substances and the treatment of addiction, in practice, bear little resemblance to the significant body of evidence-based practices that have been developed and tested;* indeed only a small fraction of individuals receive interventions or treatment consistent with scientific knowledge about what works.”

Our mission is simple –  we want to help people of all ages, from all places, achieve their fullest potential, by bringing into the world the best and newest tools and information to support withdrawal relief, effective detox, and lasting recovery from addiction.

My name is Reilly Johnson and I’m founder of The Opiate Freedom Center . I created this website to empower and give hope to those struggling with addiction.

I know what it’s like to be addicted and I know how hard it is to recover. I know how hard it is to see family and loved ones struggle and suffer continuously with addiction. I’ve seen family and friends in and out of jail, at rehabs, and have lost some of my dearest friends to heroin and prescription opioid addiction.

Believe me, I understand your pain and your struggle. I understand how hard it is to truly recover. I know and identify with the constant struggle with oneself. But fortunately for me after almost 8 years of drug abuse I was able to quit.

It took tonz of trial and error and lot of blood, sweat and tears. And through many personal experiences and long study I discovered tricks, hacks and principles to follow for success. Which is why I created this site, The Opiate Freedom Center. I’m here to share the best ways to quit, ease withdrawals, detox effectively and end addiction.

“My goal is to provide you as much “tried and tested” information to help you eliminate withdrawals and end addiction once and for all.” –Reilly Johnson, Founder

Most of us are asking the same questions. I first went searching for the answers to these questions:

  • What compels someone to finally quit after years of trying and failing?
  • How can I quickly relieve opiate withdrawal pain and speed my recovery?
  • Are rehabs and recovery programs effective? Do they even work? What works best?
  • Who can you trust? Who really has your best interests in mind? Is it friends, doctors, counselors, family?

With nearly 10 years of first hand experiences, studying, testing and talking to others I have finally been able to come up with many little-known answers to these ever-pressing questions.

We’re here to be the friend you can trust on detox and recovery.
